UTRECHT – Balco is the market leader in Europe within the balcony industry and supplies high-quality prefab balcony systems of elegant Swedish industrial quality. Balco designs, produces and installs innovative balcony systems, balcony glazing and gallery glazing for large-scale renovation – transformation – and sustainability projects. The clients are associations of owners (VvEs), housing associations, construction companies and property owners.
In Scandinavia, solutions with balcony glazing and climate facades have been used for years. We now see that in the Netherlands the Balco systems are becoming increasingly important as sustainability measures for facades and balconies in porch and gallery flats. The first Balco projects at VvEs in the Netherlands have now been completed with an ever-growing order portfolio.
To further strengthen the current position within the VvE sector, we are looking for a new colleague in the role of Area Sales Manager for VvEs on behalf of Balco to supplement the Dutch team (5 FTE).
You will maintain and further expand your own network in the world of VvE’s and VvE managers from the Utrecht location. You make contact with VvE’s, VvE managers, technical managers and sustainability advisors who are involved in sustainability processes at VvE’s.
You develop relationships and bring Balco to the attention of these target groups. For example, you organize meetings and give presentations on location where you advise and inform about Balco solutions with the aim of taking on large-scale sustainability projects. The lead time has an average of about 6 to 12 months. We are looking for a colleague who knows this market and understands the dynamics within a VvE.
To formulate, position and implement an effective sales and marketing strategy, you work closely with the general manager of the Netherlands and the marketing department in Sweden.
In addition, you make monthly visits to the Balco branches in Scandinavia and you have close contact with your international colleagues.
You proactively approach the VvE market and identify opportunities for expanding the portfolio. You closely follow developments within the sector and increase Balco’s visibility in order to generate growth.
- You have a HBO or WO commercial/technical education;
- You include a network in the VVE sector and you have a proven track record in accelerating growth and development in sales;
- You are commercially strong, you are social and you have a good factor;
- In addition, you have a high degree of entrepreneurship, involvement and collegiality;
- You have experience with custom projects;
- You are enterprising, enterprising, decisive and a self-starter; you have an attitude that suits a start-up/scale-up;
- You also have strong communication skills and you master English at a business level.
